![]() ![]() ![]() I know he already has a home, and I also want that safe home and that safe place. Because now the responsibility just grows, especially for him. So in a way, I think it almost becomes safer when they become the most unsafe, when we start being intimate. Nina knows he has a family, and that comes first. I feel like the more she becomes involved with him, the more safe it actually becomes for her. But Nina’s not as innocent as we think she is. he’s an American man, and it’s very fascinating. It hasn’t been that long since Nina’s come to the U.S. Nina doesn’t have a boyfriend, She was just working. So yeah, I think there’s the normal, human feelings and curiosities. At the same time, we relate to each other. I was just starting out, and he really throws me in there. He takes care of me even though, before, I’ve never been involved in the spy game. ![]() What do you think motivated that? Do you think there was an actual romantic pull, or was it about ensuring her own safety? Mahendru: Well, he makes her feel really safe, and that’s just the laws of nature to gravitate towards that. IGN: While you could feel the attraction on Stan’s end, Nina basically initiated what happened between them. I will be involved with Directorate S in one way or another. I’m a junior officer, and I got promoted, as you saw. Again, I think more will happen on Wednesday. IGN: It’s the nature of the show, but you don’t really interact with Keri or Matthew. I think it will start to unfold in about two episodes. I’m not just a girl that ended up where she is, so there is a really colorful background that will unfold. Of course, this situation began because she was doing something she wasn’t supposed to be doing. (The Sundance cut was a bit meandering I'd expect the new cut to reign in that aspect, without trimming much of the weird Disney imagery that makes it an unusual experience.IGN: Everyone’s got such a crazy situation on The Americans, but your character, she’s really stuck. A new, shorter cut is playing Fantastic Fest soon, and I'll report on that when I get a chance to check it out. You can read Peter's account of the film from Sundance I share most of his feelings, but I think I liked the movie a bit more overall than he did. There's not much value in being the second movie to film in Disney parks without permission. There can only be one Escape From Tomorrow, and now that it exists, the trick is used up. Will this invite more people to try the same thing? Probably not. But having a semi-official clarification of the Disney position is useful. this year parlayed Warner Bros.' objections to using the title The Butler, which Warners owns, into a mountain of media that put its film on the public's radar.Īll of which is exactly what people have guessed might happen over the course of the past nine months. THR has a piece on the thinking over at Disney, and says, A spokesperson did not respond to a request for comment, but a studio source says the strategy is to avoid giving Tomorrowattention that could lead to bigger box office. ![]() Yet if Disney were to slap a lawsuit on the producers and/or distributor, or try to otherwise block the marketing or release, that would invite far more attention than Escape From Tomorrow is likely to receive on its own.
